• Complicated paperwork shouldn’t be the reason people lose their Medicaid coverage. A new federal rule requires many adults who get Medicaid to prove they’re working, studying, or volunteering 80 hours a month. People with disabilities are supposed to be exempt, but the rule adds so much paperwork that many could lose coverage anyway—not because they’re ineligible, but because they can’t keep up with the red tape.

• Join us July 15 to learn about the full draft of our Fair Housing Assessment!
  With feedback from community meetings and surveys, the City of Columbus has been conducting its Fair Housing Assessment to evaluate barriers to housing choice in our city. The assessment will help guide how federal housing funds are invested, expanding access and opportunity across Columbus’ neighborhoods.
  The last public meeting in this process will be held Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the conference room at 141 N. Front St.
  At this meeting, you’ll have a chance to learn more about the full draft of the Fair Housing Assessment, ask questions and provide input.

• The Cuyahoga County Board of Health and the Cleveland Department of Public Health are working together to improve our community’s health and well-being.
